Letting Go

Ronnie Yee:Martial arts were my gospel. I thought the only way to be fit was to do hundreds of crunches and jump into the splits. After experiencing Amelia’s hands, I felt there is something to this, but I was still stubborn towards it. Only when there was a revolutionary change in my body did I really grasp the importance.

I was sitting in a restaurant and something in the centre of my body snapped. My entire body pulled backwards, my collar bones opened, and I had so much pain.

I went back to Amelia and she said: “I feel sorry for you – you’re going to be in agony for a least a couple of weeks.” And I was. But the feeling I had was amazing. I could breathe again, I could see clearer, my feet felt lighter. I was addicted to that feeling.”

Madeleine Lepage: "This work is about letting go. You can practice this while chopping vegetables and you will find you can chop much faster."
